Have to stop in here for dessert after eating at the stray dog. Good ole hand dipped ice cream !!! Tons of flavors to choose from plus you can turn any flavor into a shake. Quiet small with a vintage look. Friendly staff and fair prices. I recommend mackinaw island fudge and cappuccino crunch as a shake.....nuff said . thank me later!!!

Very friendly service. Ice cream was delicious. I had hot fudge and strawberry sundae. My husband had chocolate sundae. We both thought the ice cream was excellent. I actually had to say, "That's enough," because she was scooping out so much. Definitely generous portions. Highly recommended! Cash only, but I heard them talking about getting a credit card machine soon. Glad we had cash on us! Was super yummy.

Ice cream is not high quality. Don't waste your money. Either go to Barneys & buy your own ice cream & toppings or head over to Oink.

This is a "hidden" gem in New Buffalo! I am truly sorry to those that have let it slip by! Talk about DELICIOUS and walking distance from the beach- hello relaxation! The variety and taste of the ice cream is hard to beat! You name it- they've got it! And a frozen yogurt bar! Every time my family and I have visited- the service is one of a kind! Wonderful atmosphere, perfect location and delicious treats! Make sure you add this place to your agendas and don't forget CASH! No cards accepted :)

I can only give this 1 star because Oinks is rt. down the street and the ice-cream and atmosphere is way better there. If it was somewhere else I would give it 3, good location, but Hersey's ice cream is not the best. Fun decor.

Maybe its just NBU. Not sure why anybody would bring their kids into a unfriendly ice cream shop. "Hello" and "Thank you" are just simple etiquette. Ice cream was not true to flavor.

Took the family here last week after a day at the beach. Lots of different ice cream flavors which is why I gave them 1 star. Other than that, this place is extremely overpriced for what you are getting. Seriously, for $4 you get an extremely small scoop of ice cream. The lack of competition is the only reason people come inside. For what they are charging, the staff should at least be friendly and grateful for your business. Our server had neither of these traits. Take your business further down the road to the outdoor ice cream shack.

Good ice cream and good service. We had dessert here a couple of times. They had a good selection do favors and the servers were always friendly and helpful.
